Laramie Boomerang

The Laramie Boomerang is the only newspaper in Laramie, Wyoming. It was established in 1881 by Edgar Wilson Nye, who named the paper after his mule, Boomerang. Nye also contributed several humorous writings Boomerang (under the pseudonym of Bill Nye) and served as editor of the newspaper until 1884.

The newspaper sometimes serves as a training ground for many recent graduates of the University of Wyoming.
