The Tri-City Herald is a daily newspaper based in Kennewick, Washington, in the United States. Owned by The McClatchy Company, the newspaper serves southeastern Washington, including the three communities of Pasco, Kennewick, and Richland (Tri-Cities). It was first known as the Pasco Herald. After being sold by the Williams family to Glenn C. Lee and Robert Philip, the paper moved from Pasco to Kennewick and became a daily in 1947, coining the name 'Tri-Cities' as part of the new daily's name. It serves Benton and Franklin counties in southeastern Washington as well as far south as Hermiston, Oregon.
