The Richmond Ad Club is a dynamic organization of advertising professionals that's been around since 1960. Our official mission is, "To unite our ad community through service endeavors, education and the celebration of creativity."
Currently the Richmond Ad Club represents over 40 agencies, production houses, printers, and other interested parties.
- Community Service: In keeping with our mission of community service, the Richmond Ad Club partners with a local non-profit in need as its charitable beneficiary. We help that organization through fundraisers and donations of creative time and resources.
- Scholarship: The Richmond Ad Club, in conjunction with The Martin Agency, awards the Harry Jacobs Scholarship each year to a student attending the VCU AdCenter. Funds for the scholarship are raised through our annual golf tournament and speaker events.
- Education: The Ad Club features industry leaders at speaker events through a partnership with the VCU AdCenter
- Public Relations: The Richmond Ad Club acts as an advocate nationwide for the interests of our city's advertising community, making others aware of Richmond as a competitive advertising presence in the Southeast.
- Awards: The Richmond Show honors exceptional creative work from the Richmond advertising community, recognizing individuals and agencies for work that truly lives up to the highest national standards.
- Events: In addition to the Golf Tournament and The Richmond Show, the club sponsors social events year-round to stimulate interest in and promote the growth of the advertising industry in Richmond.
