1873 founds Bonne Presse and Pelerin weekly journal

1877 Pelerin becomes illustrated journal

1883 founds La Croix daily newspaper

1894 first Dreyfus trial

1900 Assumptionist order expelled from France

1900 ownership of Bonne Presse transferred to associate. Bonne Press later renamed Bayard Presse
